Cases involving an injury or death in a small airplane crash frequently involve a corporate owner of the aircraft, an NTSB investigation or report, maintenance records, and a number of other items that may reveal relevant information to the crash. A propeller strike incident such as this one can easily result in a knee injury from the dashboard or a head injury from striking something in the cockpit of the aircraft. An incident such as this is a reminder that pulling the seatbelt tight while in a small aircraft is essential. If the seatbelt is not pulled tight, the pilot could be forced out of position in the seat and lose control of the aircraft if not properly strapped in.
